Discipline Committee

Chair: Charlene Crews, RSSW

As part of its duty to serve and protect the public interest, the College is required to have a Discipline Committee. The duties of the Committee are to:

  • Hear and determine allegations of professional misconduct or incompetence on the part of a College registrant, directed or referred to it by the Complaints Committee, the Council, or the Executive Committee.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to it by Council.

In 2022, the Discipline Committee:

  • Received 17 referrals.
  • Held nine discipline hearings.
  • Issued five decisions and reasons.
