2025 Annual Report and Equity & Inclusion Data Results Now Available
The College is pleased to share the second-year findings from the Equity and Inclusion Data Initiative as part of the 2025 Annual Report.
The Equity and Inclusion Data Initiative invites registrants to voluntarily share demographic information to help the College better understand the diversity within the social work and social service work professions. The initiative is grounded in the principle that meaningful change begins with meaningful measurement.
The second year in numbers:
The College is encouraged by the continued engagement in the Equity and Inclusion Data Initiative and is pleased to share that 19,056 individuals—approximately 66% of College registrants—chose to participate in the initiative’s second year.
The second-year findings demonstrate a similar distribution of demographics to the inaugural year and continue to provide valuable insights into the diversity represented within the professions. These findings are an important step in helping the College better understand the experiences and representation of registrants across Ontario.
The data collected through the initiative will continue to support evidence-based decision-making and inform ongoing equity, diversity and inclusion efforts. The College is using these insights to collaborate with engagement groups, including educators, professional associations and government partners, to help identify and address systemic barriers and better serve the Ontario public. We invite you to explore the key findings and trends from the second year of the Equity and Inclusion Data Initiative.
