Call for Applications Now Open: 2024 Council Election in Electoral District No. 4

Are you interested in becoming a member of the College Council? The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (the College) is pleased to announce that the call for applications is now open for interested registrants in Electoral District No. 4.

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, two social workers and two social service workers from District No. 4 will be elected to join the 2024-2025 College Council starting in September.

The deadline to submit your Council Candidate Application Package is 5 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024.

What Do Council Members Do?

Council members play a pivotal role in governing the College, impacting policies that regulate the practice of social work and social service work. As a Council member, you’ll attend approximately four meetings annually and sit on at least one statutory committee
