ASWB Seeks RSWs to Join Community Conversations – Additional Dates

The following message is sent on behalf of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). The ASWB is a non-profit organization composed of and owned by the social worker regulatory boards and colleges of all 50 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces, including the College.

Message from the ASWB

As noted previously in a February eBulletin, the ASWB is seeking registered social workers to join online community conversations. As part of the ASWB’s ongoing efforts to listen and learn from the social work community, they are inviting social workers to share their experiences with social work licensing and their social work journey.

Due to the high interest in these sessions, the ASWB has added sessions on Tuesday, May 9; Tuesday, May 16; and Thursday, May 18 (all times 6-9 p.m. EST).

Registered social workers can sign up to participate in the online community conversations via the following links:

If you would like to provide your feedback to the ASWB but are unable to attend a community conversation, you can fill out the Community Conversations Survey.

The ASWB has partnered with HumRRO, an independent non-profit research and consulting firm, to facilitate inclusive and productive conversations about the social work licensing exams during the community conversations.

The qualitative research collected during the conversations will help inform ASWB’s initiatives as they continue to develop fair, reliable, and valid exams for the future of social work.

Visit the ASWB website for more information on the community conversations.
