ASWB Seeks Registered Social Workers to Join a Community Conversation to Share Experiences in Their Social Work Journeys

The following message is sent on behalf of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). The ASWB is a non-profit organization composed of and owned by the social worker regulatory boards and colleges of all 50 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces, including the College.

Message from the ASWB

The ASWB is seeking registered social workers to join an online community conversation on Thursday, April 20, 2023, 6:00-9:00 p.m. EDT. As part of the ASWB’s ongoing efforts to listen and learn from the social work community, they are inviting social workers to share their experiences with social work licensing and their social work journey.

The ASWB has partnered with HumRRO, an independent non-profit research and consulting firm, to facilitate inclusive and productive conversations about the social work licensing exams during the community conversation.

The qualitative research collected during the conversation will help inform ASWB’s initiatives as they continue to develop fair, reliable, and valid exams for the future of social work.

Registered social workers can sign up to participate in the online community conversation via this link.

Visit the ASWB website for more information on the community conversations.
