Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice Handbook
The Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice Handbook sets out minimum standards of professional practice and conduct for members of the OCSWSSW.
The Practice Guidelines contain information and practice advice which should be considered by members of the College. The guidelines are developed to assist members and employers in interpreting and applying the College’s Standards of Practice in specific areas.
ETHICS→A: Ethical Decision-Making Tool
The College has developed an ethical decision-making tool named ETHICS→A in order to assist members in considering the issues and applying their professional judgment in particular scenarios.
Scopes of Practice Paper
The objectives of this paper are to assist members and employers in understanding the purpose of a scope of practice statement, the scopes of practice of the two professions, the distinctions between them and the relationship between the scope of practice statements developed by the College and job descriptions developed by employers for members of the College.
