College resources to support your practice
Looking for guidance on an ethical or practice-related question? We encourage registrants to begin by exploring the Practice Resources section available in the College’s Resource Room.
The Resource Room includes guidance, tools and practice support on various topics to help registrants apply the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and maintain professional and ethical practice.
Below are examples of topics and resources found in the Resource Room you may find helpful:
- Consent and Confidentiality: Privacy Toolkit
- Private Practice: Private Practice webpage
- Scope of Practice: Practice Notes: Are You Practising in Scope?
- Electronic Practice: Practising in Another Province or Jurisdiction webpage
The Professional Practice Team is currently experiencing delays in response times. Before contacting the team, registrants should access these available practice resources as they may address common questions and provide immediate guidance.
If you still require Professional Practice support after reviewing the available resources, email consultations are currently the most efficient way to receive a response by emailing practice@ocswssw.org. Please note that response times will vary depending on the nature of your inquiry.
