The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is happy to announce that it will be holding its virtual Annual Meeting & Education Day (AMED) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST. AMED is part of the Glenda McDonald Educational Series.
Employers are encouraged to share this great educational opportunity with their social work and social service work staff members. College registrants can use their attendance at this year’s AMED towards their 2023 Continuing Competence Program (CCP).
What to expect at AMED2023
This year’s theme is Making the Connection: Professionalism, Accountability and Public. The College is pleased to have Zelda la Grange present a keynote address, titled Making connections: Ubuntu, and offer four educational sessions which will take place throughout the day on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
The Annual Meeting, keynote address and all four educational sessions will be hosted entirely online via a conference platform.

College registrants will need to register to attend the virtual Annual Meeting and Education Day. Registrants can participate during the live streams by asking questions and/or making comments.
