Reinstatement of Certificate of Registration

Eligibility

A registrant can apply for reinstatement if:

  • Their certificate of registration was suspended for non-payment of fees (administrative suspension) less than two years ago.
  • Their certificate of registration was suspended for non-compliance with the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) less than two years ago.

Considerations Before Applying for Reinstatement

The certificate of registration issued by the College is valid until December 31 of the calendar year, regardless of when it is issued.

If you apply for reinstatement between September and December, your certificate will still expire on December 31st, and you will be required to renew your registration for the following year in January. Depending on your circumstances, you may wish to wait until January 1 to submit your reinstatement.

Note: Reinstatement fees paid before December 31 are not prorated and cannot be applied toward the following year’s renewal.

Reinstatement process

To apply for reinstatement, log into the Online Portal and click on the “Reinstatement” tab at the top of the screen.

The total fee for applying for reinstatement is $600. This includes the reinstatement fee of $150; late fee of $50; and renewal fee of $400.

If you require accommodation due to specific circumstances or you do not have a valid email address to access the Online Portal, contact the College’s Registration and Renewals Department:
