Apply to participate in governance at the College
The College is seeking members of the community, who are neither registrants of the College nor Council members, to serve as Community Appointees.
Current Opportunities
The College strives to create an inclusive environment which reflects the diversity of its registrants and the individuals, families and communities that they serve. As part of these efforts, the College encourages applications from members of the community who are proficient/fluent in French and from other equity-deserving groups – including those who are Indigenous, members of visible minorities, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, persons living with disabilities and/or women.
As a Community Appointee you will:
- Contribute to the governance of the College.
- Assist the College in fulfilling its public protection mandate.
- Receive a per diem honorarium and reimbursement of all reasonable related travel, accommodation and meal expenses.
Interested applicants should submit their online application and résumé highlighting their relevant skills and experience and specifying any specialized competencies. The deadline for receipt of applications is July 17, 2026.
Please note that the number of available positions for Community Appointees is limited by the College’s governing legislation, by-laws and policies.
Applicants will be advised after the September Council meeting if they have been appointed to serve on a committee.
