The College’s 2026 Annual Meeting and Education Day (AMED) took place on June 9, 2026. This year’s theme was Trust, Care and Accountability. Session videos are now available to watch on the College website and YouTube channel.
Employers are encouraged to share these practice resources with their staff. These videos can serve as relevant professional development tools, supporting social work and social service work employees in upholding professional and ethical standards of care.
Feature presentation highlight
Employers and their staff can watch the feature presentation, Keep Calm and Practice On: Maintaining Professionalism in Multi-Disciplinary Settings, presented by the College’s Professional Practice staff. This presentation explores the intersections of professionalism, boundaries and professional judgment in the context of a multidisciplinary team.
Educational sessions
Three educational session videos are also available to watch. These sessions cover practice-specific topics including:
- Navigating issues of consent and confidentiality when working with older adults
- Readiness for private practice and how to use and practice supervision effectively
- Commonly asked questions about the College’s complaints process
