Save the Date for AMED 2022!

The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is happy to announce that it will be holding its Annual Meeting & Education Day (AMED) on Friday, June 10, 2022. AMED is part of the Glenda McDonald Educational Series.

This year’s theme is Learning and Unlearning in a Changing Landscape. The College is pleased to have Dr. Carol Hopkins, RSW, as the keynote speaker and eight educational sessions that will take place throughout the day on Friday, June 10, 2022.

We encourage you to join us for this engaging virtual event! The Annual Meeting, keynote address, and all eight educational sessions will be hosted entirely online via a conference platform.

Participation and the CCP

College members can use their attendance at AMED, including their participation in any of the eight educational sessions, towards completing their Continuing Competence Program (CCP). The CCP ensures that social workers and social service workers are qualified, enhance their knowledge on an ongoing basis, and remain up to date in their practice throughout their careers.

Stay Tuned for More Information

College members will need to register to attend the virtual AMED and to select the educational sessions they wish to view throughout the day. Members can participate during the live presentations by asking questions and/or making comments via the conference platform.

Please note that online registration is not yet open. In the coming months, the College will provide more information about AMED 2022, including registration details.
