The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers would like to remind College members of its upcoming 2020 Annual Meeting and keynote address. This year’s event will take place entirely via livestream on Thursday, September 3, 2020 as follows:
- Annual Meeting: 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Keynote Address: 11 a.m. to noon
During the livestream, members will be able to participate by asking questions and/or making comments. Participants will be able to submit their questions and/or comments by entering their questions into the “Call for Questions” field at the bottom of the Annual Meeting and keynote address webpage.
This year’s event will include a keynote presentation by Ramona Alaggia, MSW, PhD, RSW, entitled “Gender Equality, Gender Equity and Gender-Based Violence: Mobilizing an Anti-Violence Movement in a Pandemic.” Members can now access the keynote address PowerPoint presentation here.
To access these events via livestream, simply visit the College website on September 3rd in order to participate in the livestream.
Important note: Pre-registration ahead of the Annual Meeting and keynote address is not required.
