The College is holding our Annual Meeting and Education Day (AMED) on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Although AMED is exclusively for registered social workers and registered social service workers, we will livestream the Annual Meeting, keynote address and four afternoon breakout sessions on the College website and our Facebook page, so stakeholders across the province are able to watch the proceedings live.
This year’s keynote speaker is Jeffrey Ansloos, PhD, who will deliver the keynote address on “Reconciliation and social work and social service work practice.” The breakout sessions feature timely topics of interest to social workers, social service workers and some stakeholders. (Check the College website closer to the opening of registration in May to access the speaker names and session titles.)
The College will also be live-tweeting AMED on its Twitter feed. We encourage members to connect with us on Twitter during the event, using the #AMED2019 hashtag, and we look forward to seeing you and your employees virtually at AMED 2019!
