The College Council is comprised of seven social workers and seven social service workers who are elected by members of the College. Another seven Public members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor. An election is held in a different district in May of each year.

In 2017, the membership of District No. 3 will elect two social workers and two social service workers. The College will send a call for nominations in January to invite all eligible members in Electoral District No. 3 to put their names forward as candidates for election to the College Council.
