Registration for AMED 2016 Now Open

The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is pleased to announce that registration for the 2016 Annual Meeting & Education Day (AMED) is now open to all College members. The event is part of the Glenda McDonald Educational Series.

AMED will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The theme of AMED 2016 is Resilience: At the Root of Practice.

This year’s AMED will feature Lieutenant Colonel Suzanne Bailey, MSW, RSW, as keynote speaker. Lt.-Col. Bailey, a senior social work officer with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), will present Resilience & Well-Being. The event will also include eight educational seminars for RSWs and RSSWs.
