When is my renewal due?
The annual fee is due on or before December 31 of the previous year.
Where can I find the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) documents?
The CCP documents are available on the College website at http://www.ocswssw.org/the-continuing-competence-program/ccp-documents/.
How long will it take to complete my renewal online?
The online renewal system typically takes about 15 minutes to review your personal information and complete the online renewal.
What is involved in the online renewal process?
In order to complete your annual renewal online, you will be required to answer several questions and make declarations regarding your practice question, participation in the Continuing Competence Program and your professional conduct. Once you have answered these questions and agreed to the Declaration of Compliance, you will be directed to the payment section to complete the renewal.
What are the accepted methods of payment?
Your renewal fee can be paid by credit card, cheque or money order.
Do I have to pay my fees online if I complete the renewal form online?
There are two payment options: paying by Visa or MasterCard online, or by mailing a cheque or money order to the College office. The online payments are made through a secured server. If you choose to mail a cheque or money order, be sure to write your registration number and attach a print confirmation from the payment page once you’ve completed the online renewal form.
My renewal is late. What should I do?
Members are responsible for ensuring they renew on time to avoid incurring late charges. If the College does not receive your payment by January 31, a $50 late fee will automatically be added onto your renewal fee. Failure to pay the annual fees can result in suspension of a member’s certificate of registration.
I found out about the online renewal after I completed and returned a paper version of the renewal form to the College office. Can I go online and complete the renewal form to speed up the process?
Please contact the College by phone (416-972-9882 or 1-877-828-9380) or email email@example.com to inform us that you renewed online and also mailed the paper renewal form.
What online member services are available?
The following services are available on the online member services: My Profile and the annual membership renewal.
Who is permitted to access the online services website?
Only registered members of the OCSWSSW who have an email address on file with the College have access to the online member service.
Is the site secure?
Yes. The College encrypted the online section of the site, which prevents any unauthorized individuals from viewing or obtaining any information you provide. Members should also take steps to prevent others from seeing their information, particularly if you access the site on a public computer. Do not share your password with anyone. It is advised that you occasionally change your password.
How do I login to the online member services?
You will need your User ID (OCSWSSW Registration Number) and your password. Your initial password is provided by mail to you upon registration with the OCSWSSW.
What if I forgot my password?
From the login page of the site, you can click on the “Forgot your password?” link. You will be required to enter the email address the College has on file for you. You will receive an email at this address providing you with a new password. If the email address you type does not match the College’s records, you will be required to contact the College by phone at 416-972-9882 or 1-877-828-9380 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not forget to include your Registration Number and your name.

What information can I update in My Profile?
You may update your home and business contact information, your practice information and change your password. This information can be updated at any time.
Can I update my information in the Education section?
If you wish to update this section, you must ask your academic institution to mail an official transcript with the institution seal and/or stamp directly to the OCSWSSW.
My name has changed. Can I provide you with this information online?
Name changes cannot be processed online. The College must receive by mail, fax or email with PDF attachments copies of your name change certificate or marriage certificate. Please indicate your Registration Number, your previous name and your new name.
Some of the personal information pertaining to me is incorrect; however, I am unable to update it online. What should I do?
If you need to update any of the shaded grey fields, you must contact the College to do so. Please email your changes to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your Registration Number and your name in your email request.
